Louis Pasteur ( December 27, 1822-September 28, 1895), popularly known as the “father of microbiology”, was a famous French biologist, microbiologist, and chemist who developed antidotes and cures to many dangerous illnesses such as rabies and anthrax. His first & most important discovery in vaccination happened in 1879 when he was able to find a solution for chicken cholera.
