French Cuisine, 2021 I wrote a series of three poems which reflect on my short-lived experiences inside the French culinary world. I was working as a commis waiter before the first lockdown, and chose to capture some of my extraordinary shifts through the haiku form. The first poem is A Poem on Lobsters 🦞

When Chefs say, as thin as a Tuile.. Tuile is a very thin baked wafer of French origin. Tuile in French means tile.
