as far as I know, he has been busy with theatre lately (Dostoevsky’s “Demons”) and there is something coming up this year. I still haven’t seen Kraftidioten yet (
*glares at theatre actors and performances we’ll never have a chance to see*

you need company to suffer with I see, to rub salt into old wounds and stuff
*hands a pack of sea salt* do it in style
I this demon meme still on? Can i lure you out with some battered Burroughs novel, victorian medical kit, matthew mcconaughey's weary gaze, contrabass balalaika (go big or go home), picture of Garrett Hedlund in Troy and a cup of tea in a metal cupholder?
I love that all of those can be logically connected to draw a pentagram (probably with tea. and whiskey. and whatever is in that kit)
the cupholder is such a neat touch too, i admit i let out a happy little whimper

I know I’m repeating myself by this person in the best and his voice is the best
Partick Wolf - Theseus (Tilda Swinton reads the intro, so… <3)
10 books that stayed with you
Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.
Die Stadt der Träumenden Bücher (called "the city of dreaming books in English) by Walter Moers
Lord of the Rings/Silmarillion/Hobbit by Tolkien (always counted as one in my head)
Der Klassenaufsatz by Erwin Wickert (not English translation that I know of)
Harry Potter by Rowling (also counts as one)
The City & The City by China Mieville
Good Omens by Neil Gaiman
The novelisation of the first Tomb Raider movie
If on a winter's night a traveler by Calvino
the His Dark Materials Trilogy by Pullman
Do androids dream of electric sheep? by Philip K. Dick
Honorable mention: That one book series about a bunch of kids whose parents were aliens (I think?) and they all had strange super powers. They were hunted by other aliens and the first description of the aliens scared the crap out of me.
