7/10/17 @goodkarmapetrescue FRENCHIE'S ARE JUST POCKET PIBBLES RIGHT? Meet Maya who joined our rescue today. ❤️She was purchased from a pet store as a puppy. She is now just 6yrs old and her spinal condition has progressively gotten worse where has lost the use of her back legs. She was living outside in the dirt and heat, as her owner could no longer deal with her special needs and potty accidents. Fortunately, her owner reached out to find a better situation for her and we didn't hesitate to say yes. We are unsure if there is any hope of Maya regaining the use of her back legs but we are committed to finding out if there are any medical options for her. If not, we will do whatever it takes to improve her quality of life so that she is cared for and loved for the rest of her life. She went to one of our primary vets today and had x-rays done and tomorrow she will visit the neurologist for a consult.
