The new single ‘Why?’ feat. Spoonface blends the EDM Trap sound of his adopted home in the West Coast of America with his trademark dubbed out funkadelica, creating a distinctive and full flavored 808 Bassline bouillabaisse that reaches for the heart as well as the feet. Featuring a haunting vocal full of longing and loss from serial collaborator Spoonface, ‘Why’ contemplates the inexplicable nature of humankind and why we do what we do to each other, a theme more explicitly rendered in the hard hitting artwork. On remix duties, Snareophobe comes with variations on the contemplative tone, injecting a dose of jacked up interstellar funk to the proceedings, and Mr. Bill delivers a driving melodic Future Garage cut with some tasty glitch trimmings.
