When you return from a soul seeking trip to an abandoned hospital with a new fit and instead of everyone saying "wow that's a nice coat" they call you Albert Wesker (derogatory)

O'Byrne as seen in the Monster of the Week campaign I play her in run by @gritrook in which she's a human turned SCP with a cable that extends from her neck that lets her interface with and manipulate technology.

Nothing else.

Anyway hi new people O'Byrne's from an original story but this campaign has it's own tag too.

I rise from my stupor for a moment to harp on about how so very, VERY excited I am for the campaign I've been running the last three years - a secret agency monster hunting setting - as we're heading into Finale. It's culminating into an utter tragedy I couldn't have planned, and it's so delicious.

I haven't shared about this campaign practically at all because running it is already a lot of work, let alone write about it online. Maybe I will eventually.

In short: using Monster of the Week system, it's an SCP Foundation homebrew set in Melbourne in the 1980s, full of faction conflict.

The horror setting is finally taking the shape I hoped it would and my players made it happen of their own accord.

Those players being @cino-checker, @kazylgon, @prettyflyshyguy and @condraws who are such creative storytellers and enablers of the misery I toss their characters' way. I can't wait for us to pull it across the line. <3

From Frequency Theory, an SCP themed MOTW campaign. O'Byrne's a skip that can interface with technology via a cable from her neck.

Things got a bit weird when she used it one too many times and instead of the normal wire, her guts started coming out with it too.

She also might not have her right hand anymore but who's counting.

The Foundation doesn't take the most studio-ready photos of their staff. They like to say they prefer 'candid' photos to 'keep things casual'!

And where does their budget go instead?

For a backwater… or backdirt… town like Melbourne in the 80s, it doesn't go to Suburb division for sure. They only deal with the milder cryptids, and most of them are integrated with everyday life inside and around the Victorian terrace buildings.

So when a trio of agents get sent to deal with a situation close by, it probably isn't too disturbing… right?

Something else I forgot to post. Based on, I shit you not, a true story from my partner and I genuinely testing extra long safety matches because we're freaks that get excited about that sort of thing.
