PSA to everyone in this fandom

Sorry to go off on one here but I just saw someone I know post a tiktok on her snapchat going -

“what most girls watch - james charles, nikki tutorials, tati and makeup vids. 

 what I watch - willne, memeulous, sidemen”

can we not do this? No one is less than you just because of what they want to watch. If people want to watch makeup vids, let them. You have abso-fucking-lutely no right to say “haha they watch beauty gurus”. It’s blatantly rude and you give the rest of the fandom a bad name for this type of behavior. (this is true with any fandom really.)

I have seen this type of behavior on other social medias before and I’m sorry to burst your bubble but you aren’t quirky and unique because you watch the UK scene. In my experience, it’s teen girls (hi yes? im a teen girl and i dont do this shit) You aren’t better than others just because you like more “lad” type of content. You aren’t special just because you “watch the lads chat ‘nd play footie” You look like an utter tool.

This “I’m quirky and different because I watch UK Youtubers!!” is an incredibly toxic outlook on things. I understand that many people go through this phase - hell even I myself went through that phase a couple of years ago, but you should not post about these things. If you truly think you’re a unique person just because of this - do this privately. No one wants to hear you whine about how “no one gets it” or “it’s MY thing, thank you” 

No one and I mean NO ONE, should be gate-keeping this community to others. WHO CARES if someone has been watch since 2016 or if they found out about the eboys yesterday? This fandom should be built on being inclusive to others. We should be accepting rather than insulting others for what they want to watch and how recently they joined.

Don’t get me wrong, majority of this fandom is not like this. But, there is a loud, vocal minority that push this view consistently and I just wanted to talk about it. It’s less here and more on tiktok and twitter (ofc not all there either) but I needed to get this off my chest.

TL;DR - Stop being rude to others for what they watch, it’s not cool or classy. You look like a tosser.

YES IRK,, from all the details I remember and what I read about at the time, a few "fans" (it was those Straight Boy fans that people think all commentary fans are) a couple of months ago went through the legal company documents to try and find his name. like the actual. legal documents with all the taxes, lawyers, managers etc. George's name - of course - isn't on the documents, but Will gets 50% of the revenue (probably because he's the one the company is under I think??) and he gives 25% to george.

and then they had the AUDACITY to claim they ""weren't doing anything wrong"" because the documents are public (after a lot of digging) and it's all just--

its REALLY not that hard to respect cc's privacy. you wouldn't go up to someone in the street and start asking very personal questions but some people think it's okay to ask creators shit just because they're online?!? god it's not hard. why do people still do this stuff.

Okay, I need to just write and talk:

Right, so, my life isn’t being great right now. 

Reasons:

I really like this girl, and she’s pretty cute, don’t know her too well but yeah woo. 

But I also really like a boy, which is new, and it’s kinda weird and I'm not really sure how to feel about that or anything. 

So it’s a bit of a weird fucked up puzzle in my head. 

GREAT.

Then we have more issues. 

I have so much school work, like literally a ton, but I have exams at the same time and I just can’t deal with my other subjects right now.

My best friend, Andy, his girlfriend is being an absolute cunt. Like, she’s been hell on me for so many reasons, and I'm just absolutely fed up with it and her and everything ugh. 

My anxiety is being a dick, which means I have CONSTANT pain in my shoulders, and a bleeding face all the time.

Depression is also being a butthole. 

So really, I’m just a little bit tired and a little bit stressed and a little bit annoyed and I really just needed to vent.

I really don't get why people think that by admitting they are assholes it makes it okay to be an ass. Admitting that you are doing something that hurts or annoys people doesn't make it ok to keep doing it. I just cant even asdfjhrignvfdkkf seriously!

I don’t see the point in straight people campaigning against gay marriage laws. It is NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU. It’s absolutely not going to affect you in any way at all if the gay couple across the road decide to get married. It is a), none of your fucking business, and b) not going to cause any harm to anyone!

So why the hell do anti-gay campaigners keep at it? Why do they bring God into it to make their argument more valid?

Gay people getting married are not going change your life. They’re not going to turn you gay, they’re not going to hurt you or conspire against you or whatever other stupid-ass reason you have. They just want the right to love whoever they want in their own way.

So please, FUCK OFF.
