Interesting Insects: An Immersive Evening Event _ Frick Environmental Center, Squirrel Hill South

“Join composer Ryan McMasters and Naturalist Educator Stephen Bucklin for an immersive evening at the intersection of natural sounds, music composition, and technology.”  Ryan played 3 pieces, each respectively inspired by a local insect: a cicada, a katydid, and a firefly.

“Phonetinus_”, a participatory performance of light and sound inspired by the flashing patterns of fireflies.
