THEYRE SO BEAUTIFUL OH MY
Lämna inga dörrar på glänt
Agnetha looked in the brunette's eyes. She and Frida were alone in the hall. They could hear the boys jamming in the studio, being carefree and joking. Not at all like the atmosphere out there. Agnetha felt like she could take a pair of scissors and cut through the tension. She didn’t understand what was happening around her, everything was just falling apart. She so desperately wanted someone to explain it all. Nothing made sense. Frida was still looking at her. All the tenderness, all the affection had gone, it felt like all bridges were burned. She felt like a little kid standing there in the hall having a staring match like her life depended on it. They had been over this a million times, Frida had defended herself, apologized for things she's done, how she'd done them, but Agnetha had stopped believing. Reason after reason lost meaning and the time they shared became harder and harder to bear. Their lives were moving so fast with everything they were going through, places they had to be, things they had to do. And in the middle of it was Agnetha choking on the tears left by their bitter and petty fights. And with every tear rolling down her cheeks she couldn’t help but wonder if she should dare to say farewell.
She felt like everyone was playing their own game, with their own rules and motives and the one who played by the rules, she, did it wrong. She had been so stupid to not see that all along. Everyone was responsible for their own happiness, with no regard to anyone else. Agnetha didn’t see that and got pushed and kicked to the ground.
Frida raised her eyebrow to provoke a response, any response. Agnetha just stared back at her. Deep inside of her there was an indescribable longing for love. She was looking for love and affection and for someone to give that to, but she had lost all faith and hope of finding it. In her mind there were a thousand questions racing and not a single answer in sight. Agnetha didn’t want to give Frida the satisfaction of a response. She was done always looking out for others - or other's feelings. She for once wanted to be the one to take all the little pleasures she could get, no regard for others. Slamm the doors, instead of leaving them open for everyone to see what's in her heart. Take every chance she gets, and do it quickly. Not regret what she does or says, for the sake of what others may think. For once she wanted to be the one breaking promises and not trusting everyone blindly right away. Everyone really was just playing their own game and Agnetha was done playing by the rules.
She was done telling Frida everything about her over and over again. She was done just giving and giving and giving, when it's better just to take. Agnetha finally broke eye contact and walked down the hall. She slammed the door.
She was done wasting time. From now one she was going to act on impulse. Everyone is just playing their own game and so is Agnetha. She was done looking out for any and everyone. It was her time to take every little pleasure she could. From now on her doors were closed.
Happy birthday, Agnetha!
