Fried Brussels sprouts with a mix of sweet and spicy spices are a tasty side dish that goes with any meal. The sriracha sauce makes them spicy, and the maple syrup makes them a little sweet. Putting them in the oven to roast brings out their natural flavors and makes them crispy. You can serve them at holiday dinners or as a tasty snack.
Ingredients: 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved. 2 tbsp olive oil. 2 tbsp maple syrup. 1 tbsp sriracha sauce. 1/2 tsp sea salt.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 400F 200C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, olive oil, maple syrup, sriracha sauce, and sea salt. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
