So I got together with my longtime best friend this past weekend. (When I say 'long', I mean it---she was my college roommate, I still have the emails we exchanged back in 2010.) Anyway, it might sound corny, but the fact that we've reached the age where we get crow's feet when we smile at each other makes me feel all sorts of ways.

#we're aging and it's fascinating and moving and a little sad and touching and also miraculous.#we joked about how my hearing is going and her vision is terrible and so when we go see movies as a couple old ladies #I can do visual descriptions and she can tell me what they're saying to each other.#friendship!!!!#celestial emporium of benevolent knowledge
