well i am not going to post about it more than just this, honestly, because that just isn’t how i want to spend my limited energy but. i am watching the finale and it’s. wow. hmm. i feel silly for trying so hard to find little positives through the rest of the season, and for holding out hope things would improve.

(Truth be told, I was fairly braced to see a bunch of Paris-era Lesmand in the show that was going to be... a much less kind version of their relationship than I tend to write. I know I write them a lot softer and more understanding with one another than would be indicated either by the earlier show bits or the books... but I would never have expected to just. Not really see basically any more of that relationship at that time at all. I guess that just leaves room for more fic about it...)
