To the friend who was never really a friend to begin with,

You remember we used to look at those girls who dated each other's boyfriends and laugh so hard our stomachs hurted because their friendships were hollow-er than Hitler's heart?

How we used to tell that girl that her "friends" are just using her, because they make fun of her behind her back, because she's too innocent to understand it?

How we looked at people who were downright selfish with their friends and wondered why the hell would anyone have friends who are toxic?

You are mean to your friends, because that's how you show your love. But there's a line. And that line is a dot to some.

Most of these movies and books tell you that the most important thing in life is love. But what they don't tell you is that whenever a person fights with their partner, they come to their friends to cry, to lean onto a shoulder, to bawl their eyes out, to fart with them, to pick their nose out with them, and to laugh with them. You can love twice, but you can't have that friend back you lost.

So this is for you, I saw it. I know you miss me. I know you love me, I know you love me a lot. I guess it just isn't enough. Not enough to choose me over him. Not enough to choose me over anyone. Your ex, his friend, strangers, people you literally met a week ago. All these people, and here I am. All these people, and I'm always an option.

I guess I always knew about it, I just wasn't smart enough to do something about it. Smart enough, courageous enough, brave enough.

You once told me that what you like about me the most is that i let go of people whenever they become toxic to me, so this is for you, my favorite toxic person.

Пост - признание в любви самым классным людям, которые меня окружают! И пару слов о том, как вообще прошел этот день.

Да, я хвастаюсь. Хвастаюсь тем, что мне нереально повезло и по какой-то неведомой причине я окружена только самыми крутыми людьми. Моя чудесная семья и волшебные друзья сделали этот день незабываемым.

Неделя бешеной подготовки, включающая в себя покупку продуктов, подготовку меню, выбора места проведения, нарезание салатиков, бесконечную нервотрепку, волнение по поводу того, чтобы не дай бог что-то сорвалось и не сложилось, завершилась невероятным праздничным вечером в кругу самых близких друзей. А начался он с того, что в 7 утра ко мне завалились мои подруги и по совместительству лучшие в мире одногруппницы с тортом, шариками и пакетом вкусняшек! 

Впервые собрала на своем дне рождения людей из разных кругов общения. На празднике собрались и сестры, и одноклассницы, и одногруппницы, и я по-честному волновалась, что кто-то не сможет расслабиться в кругу незнакомых людей и проникнуться праздником, но на то это и мои друзья, поэтому с первых же секунд создалась атмосфера и с моих плеч упал огромный груз. 

И все вылилось в замечательный вечер! Невероятно красивые цветы безумного цвета, замечательные подарки мечты, веселая ночь и только самые-самые рядом. Такого грандиозного дня рождения у меня никогда не была и закончившаяся так быстро пятница стала одним из лучших дней в моей жизни!

P. S. Люблю этот стиль - написать людям, что они могут прийти пораньше, самой прийти впритык и запрячь 10 человек (которые как раз и пришли пораньше) помогать готовить :D
