Searching effects are and have always been one of the best resources for any Deck capable to use them. Even if they have costy requeriments for their activation, obtaining a particular card without waiting to be drawn is a valuable ability that allow us to play our main goals as fast as possible. It really depends of the build we're working with, as while some searching effects have conditions to balance their potential others will just give all what the player needs without any drawbacks.
"Frightfur Patchwork" is a searching tool provided to a Deck consisting on three archetypes working as one to pull out Fusion Summons, and this Spell Card along can skip the majority of the process right from the start of the game. When used, "Frightfur Patchwork" allow us to obtain a "Polymerization" and any Edge Imp monster from the Deck to our hand, which by default is a powerful ability as give us two cards by the cost of one. Since the build mainly focuses on combining Fluffals with Edge Imps for their Fusion Summons, "Frightfur Patchwork" alone skips preparatives needed to obtain the main cards of their setups.
In a build mostly dependant of their Fusion Summons, all the outcomes arround "Frightfur Patchwork" are highly favorable for the user. To make things even more efficient, sending "Edge Imp Chain" to the Graveyard allow us to obtain "Patchwork" in return, giving us a good chance to perform consecutive Fusion Summons in a single turn. Almost all Frightfur monsters must be summoned by using a Fluffal and an Edge Imp monster together, and this Spell alone will let us get most of the tools needed for their arrival. Some Fusions like "Frightfur Tiger" and "Frightfur Leo" requires a very particular Edge Imp which "Patchwork" can quickly obtain for their arrival, while others such as "Frightfur Kraken" and "Frightfur Dare-Devil" can be brought with any Edge Imp we can get with this Spell Card. When it comes to Fluffals we don't need to worry much, as with the effects of members like "Fluffal Dog" and "Fluffal Octo" along the support of cards like "Fusion Conscription" we can fuel our hand with materials ready to use at any moment. Combine forces with Fluffals like "Fluffal Owl" and "Fluffal Cat", and there's a high chance to swarm the field with Fusion Summons by using their abilities along "Patchwork". Finally, if we're having problems gathering Fluffals or we want to diversify our Deck, we can use the obtained Edge Imp along other monsters to summon creatures like "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon" or "El Shaddoll Winda".
"Frightfur Patchwork" is undoubtly a powerful searcher for any Deck capable to add it to its card pool. Obtaining a key material for Frightfurs and "Polymerization" together, there's nothing much left to work with but the Fluffals we can use for the Fusion Summons. Combining forces with drawing effects and other searching tools to gather Fluffals, these archetypes now has an increased potential to spending entire hands for several Fusion Summons and recover immediately for its next setups. The only problem we have to worry about is in late game, as "Patchwork" only has three copies of "Polymerization" to look with and might become unusable once we run out of them inside our Deck. Besides that small risk, "Patchwork" is a must have for a build with high chances to quickly corner the opponent with consecutive Fusion Summons without many losses.
Personal Rating: A+
+ Obtains "Polymerization" along an Edge Imp monster from our Deck + Skips most of the process arround Fusion setups + Sinergy with the rest of its archetype to create consecutive Fusion Summons
- Might become a dead card in late game as we spend all "Polymerization" copies
