Hi okay so I saw you recommended the Daevabad series to someone and I wanted to know if you’d tell your opinion on it? Was it difficult for you to start it? Because I got almost halfway through and put it down. But I like everything the book is about but I just couldn’t get into it 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m wanting to try again, though

Oh no! It was one of my favorite books/series I read last year! I feel like things really pick up when Nahri and Dara get to Daevabad, so if you didn’t get there yet, keep going! 

Sometimes books just don’t speak to us, and that’s ok. I’ve put books down with every intention of picking it up again, because I know it’s just not the time at that moment.

However.... I have to say that I have recommended this book to my bookclub friends, and @rayonfrozenwings @fae-queen-of-the-east and @aelin-godkiller  all really liked it! I don’t remember it being slow for me to start, but maybe they have different opinions.

Hard not to notice that the friends I have most contact with since starting uni are the ones who have also gone to uni. The ones back home doing same old shit all are the ones who never make contact. Hmmm
