fringetrash. this was a fun experiment with collage. had so many random people and body parts from fringe flyers and newspapers, and decided to just... fuck with it.

These are all made from scraps from flyers and books from Edinburgh Fringe

I have a lot of mixed feelings about the flyers made for Edinburgh Fringe. On one hand, I love the weird art people make to promote their weird shows. They play such a vital role in the ecosystem, giving performing artists much needed exposure.

On the other hand, walking anywhere during august means having at least 20 of these flyers thrust upon you. Most of the ones given out end up in the bin, and if a flyerer isn't successful, well, they'll end up there anyway.

I took more than usual this year to use in collage. I have a ridiculously heavy box full of them. I gave a chunk of it away to another place and it's still absurd.

I'm gonna make more and, if I'm successful in my application for a zine fair, sell them there. If not, gifts.

Odin's Eye. FringeTrash. Really pleased the edge text worked, put it right on the bleed border hoping it'd show on the sides.
