1959
Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup first recorded Mean Ole Frisco in the early '40s—just voice and guitar, nothing else needed.
1943
Nearly twenty years later, he returned to the track with a full band and electric edge. Both versions hit differently, but the heart stays the same.
1962
