You have little say in what you can and can not do, are frequently bullied and no one tries to help you. I, personally, am not happy about having to return to such a facility. ❞

unfortunately, loneliness is something that ralsei has become very acquainted with. he’s waited a long time for the entrance of the lighteners, and was left alone due to the subjects belief in the old tale waning. 

it’s something that he’s so grateful to have been broken away from, but it’s something that he can’t really shake in fear of it coming again. after the end of the game, you’ll see him making sure to visit other’s every day just to make sure they’re still there. 

he does always make sure to bring some kind of gift, so he doesn’t feel like a bother.

         there is no voice --- only stiff, jerky hands, yet kris finds more meaning in those twitching motions than they ever could in uttered words. it’s--- comforting, somehow. to see a language so oft forgotten used again, to have words not oft heard directed at them. perhaps it’s in the way it’s said. gently, softly, in spite of all the trembling: with a firmness that leaves no room for doubt, a belief that leaves no room for hesitation. stay determined, the child signs, but they know there is so much more to it than just that. ( they know there is so much more to this kid than just ‘strangely encouraging’. )

         with deliberately slow, deliberately broadcasted movements, they crouch down ( gods, the kid is tiny --- were they ever this small? )to the younger one’s eye level. place a light hand on a hunched shoulder. offer their smallest, most sincere smile yet.

【 honestly? when people try to justify someone for what they did whilst demonising another person entirely, it isnt fair in their eyes- theyre not very fond of people who do that pff 】
