At first when I read this question my immediate answer was no. But then I thought about it a little longer, and realized that Karkat actually helped me understand Katsuki. They're essentially the same flavor of guy. From shipping with Karkat I knew just how to handle a loud, rough around the edges sort of dude like Katsuki once I started developing feelings for him.

Let's show some attention to Sonia for this ask (I feel like I don't talk about her enough!)

7- Sonia lives in the world of Pokemon, so technically the answer is yes and no regarding pet ownership (in the sense that regular animals don't exist, but I think the pokemon she has is more of a companion than a battle partner.)

We all know that she has a Yamper, but it's not known what other pokemon she has. So, I headcanon that Sonia also has a Gossifleur, Galarian Rapidash, Blastoise, Jolteon, and Applin on her team! (Gossifleur and Rapidash feel like they fit her visual vibe imo, Jolteon could be a buddy for Yamper, Blastoise is there to represent Sonia's past rivalry with Leon, and Applin is a gift from Viti!). Sonia is a professor, so she obviously loves pokemon/pets. And her 'mon from childhood were both Yamper and Squirtle!

8- I imagine Sonia was a bit of a rambunctious child before and at the start of her pokemon journey; always trying to stay ahead of her friends with her quick wit. But as she continued through the gym challenge, she calmed down, and began to realize there was more to life than being champion. But then, she started losing track of where exactly she wanted to be in life, just as she dropped out of the gym challenge. She finished the rest of her adolescence with somewhat of an identity crisis. She's got it figured out now tho, dw 👍

9- She likes to be called Nia! Although she's grown partial to the nickname Sonny, thanks to Viti.

Leon and Raihan used to teasingly call her Sonbunny (a play on the pokemon name Scorbunny), but Sonia hates that name nowadays. Especially because she doesn't feel hotheaded enough to have her nickname be related to a fire type pokemon.

what is "proship and variants" even supposed to mean

do y'all even know who or what you are against anymore, or just using generalised placeholders just to show that you are not supporting anything that could potentially be considered Bad (tm)?

I put proship + variants DNI so I don't waste space on posts writing out everything that falls under the proship umbrella (darkship, comship, etc.). People who fall under the category of "variants" know who they are. Y'all aren't stupid.

If you're getting upset that I have that warning on my posts, then you most likely fall under that umbrella as well, and you know it. Go ahead and block me and move on with your life, instead of coming into my inbox all salty about it.
