While native to eastern North America, the American Bullfrog can be found throughout the continent and even in some parts of South America. This large amphibian is well known for its deep mating call, and for eating whatever will fit in its mouth (and sometimes trying for things that wont!) Growing up in the woods kept me interacting with all types of frogs every spring through early autumn. Bullfrogs were some of my favorite frogs. As a little kid, these massive frogs looked gigantic! This one-of-a-kind piece of artwork is needle felted by hand entirely out of wool over a wire skeleton. The wire skeleton allows for you to gently pose her legs!
