Scotty just can't even...
Scotty is doing his best proud like the @stickyfrogs, because he ate a whole earthworm today! And when you're smaller than a golf ball, that's quite an accomplishment!
Scotty is sporting his fashionable Spanish moss hat today. Isn’t he handsome?
Does this water dish make my butt look big?
Six Days of Snakes: Day 5
Only two days now, until I pick up my new hognose, I’m trying to make the time pass more quickly by making snakes.
Today’s creation is a rather large four and a half foot “rainbow” boa. I’ve been using fabric scraps to paper piece a stripey rainbow on a roll of adding machine paper, for use as a quilt binding. But when I saw the roll of stripes today, I thought it would make a perfect snake. I added a black and white pattern to the bottom, and the head is some green stripe leftover piecing from another project.
I’ve filled this handsome boy with a mixture of yarn scraps and poly pellets, for a heavier more realistic feel. And since I’m notoriously clumsy with a needle, he has already been christened with mine own blood, I expect him to come to life any night now.
Six Days of Snakes: Day 4
Three days until I pick up my snake sweetie!!! I’m trying to make the time pass more quickly by making snakes.
I had a very rough day today, so when I got home I needed some serious relaxing crafting. So I skipped the needles and hooks and turned to sculpting, I’m never more in “the zone” than when I’m working on sculpture.
I busted out the polymer clay and made some wee little hognose hatchlings, and the best part is that they glow in the dark!
Six Days of Snakes: Day 3
Four days until I pick up my snake sweetie, so I’m trying to make the time pass more quickly by making snakes.
Smol sneks today! These little cuties like to hang out on my crochet hooks, but they also make excellent rings for the fingers.
