i had a professor who worked for don bluth and told us that don came up to him once and said “let’s go throw the ol pigskin around” and my prof was like “ok should i... do you want me to cancel my meeting?” and don got all mad and shouted “that’s not my problem! I want you to come play football!”

i try to not rest my hand on the paper as much as possible... i’m super paranoid about smudging things, since outside of fanart i primarily work in inks that take a while to dry. i essentially just try to be as careful as possible haha

it also helps to put down a piece of paper over the parts you’ve already finished, in case you want to rest the side of your hand!! it will prevent smudges
