tbh I dont really expect this one to sell anytime soon but I do like the colors so far... I wanna try new ways to render my stuff, since I stick so closely to just . Clean lines and solid shading

so this time im trying a more... Loose look to my lines and coloring, but we'll see....

He’s been kinda in this state for a while, I knit like 6-8 detached limbs ages ago and was trying to figure out how to wire them.

Pipe cleaners will work if you don’t go into the fingers and don’t want it to be freestanding, which, if you know my perfectionistic ass, isn’t good enough for me, so I’m gonna have to take it out of the leg.

I also could not successfully get wire into the digits if I had knit the limb beforehand. So basically all the limbs I had knit are useless and I had to knit the I-cords around the wire and pre-formed wire fingers (as pictured in the arm). Successful but exhausting so I’m still on a break after doing that trial and error and successfully doing one (1).

Once I finished the limbs and sew the mouth seam this bb will be done 🐸

Red frog!! Red frog seems less grumpy and more judgey? This is turning out to be a very expressive pattern, I just have no control over *which* expression they have lol

The terrarium background is almost done!!!!!

Little man came out of the water on Xmas day! A Christmas miracle! So cute! So tiny!

Look how tiny he is! Smaller than my pinky nail! He now has a whole 18x24 exoterra terrarium all to himself, until he grows up some more and I can ID what sex he is so I can put him in the right terrarium with the other froggos.

It was an absolute blast watching this guy grow from a tiny dark dot in a little jelly egg to a tadpole to a froglet to Full Frog. I love him so much. So much frogress! And I raised him all by myself too! So cute! So tiny! <3

Ok so first attempt at blocking ever, on my frog plushie.

After soaking the stitches look absolutely the same, not evened out like I’d hoped (see massive hokey stitch in circle and one on lower left)

I read hot water will felt the yarn and to avoid it, but was my water too cold and thus didn’t do anything? Or will something more happen when it fully dries?

The first draft of the Nick and Jaden post-Leafy stream debate fic is done. Technically, half of the second draft is done, as I'm currently transcribing it to my computer. It won't be posted until next weekend, though.
