they function similarly to clan structures but there's no leaders or deputies (nobody gets nine lives). healers and mediators still exist with the former simply just because the colony would die out much faster because apparently nobody else knows basic medical skills. warriors are also called sentinels while mentors and apprentices are called teachers and novices respectively.

Dustheart has so so much violence in his heart (his personality trait in bloodthirsty) because the boy he liked died in a proclamation of war.

Grousepaw and Downpaw are Hootstar's kids. No one knows who their other parent was but I like to think that Hootstar took them in the divorce.

Gilltail oddly enough gave me "protagonist" vibes since he was some random kid Hootstar took as an apprentice but during the same border scuffle that killed Dustheart's crush it ended up injuring him bad enough to where he was forced to retire and I imagine he's bitter that he never got to have a proper character arc before immediately getting sent to the elders den.

Grousepaw and Downpaw have a love-hate relationship going on so I like to imagine that they have petty sibling drama 24/7.

Thistlekit is a random kit that the Clan found and since Wheatclaw was due soon anyways, they decided to raise her with Wheatclaw's kits.

Frondstrike is the father of Wheatclaw's kits.
