I was sort of neutral for the most part about Ras as a villain, but now he’s actually really fucking scary? Getting all psycho on Arin and Sora is one thing. Even though they’re kids, they’re still trained fighters. But the way he beat up Frohicky and Geo? Not just the beating, but how personal he got with them??? Like damn you barely know these guys.

I’m reading it as a sort of jealousy, jealousy that the ninja have loved ones who care about them enough to even try to fight for them, regardless of their own strength. Still, bro is way scarier now I’m really hyped.
