if anyone asks me why i think backstitching is the devil, i'll tell them it made me put this project on hold for over a year when 1) i thought it would be relatively simple, and 2) it was one of the projects i was looking forward to the most 🙃

incomplete (because i had been working on this all week and thought this was a good place to stop for now 😭 i will be completing it eventually though!)

threads used (dmc - *denotes substitute for colour in pattern): blanc, 3854* (722), 3708* (761), 3747* (25), 921* (720), 3799

all in all, an excellent stash busting project! instead of the pink french knots i will be doing sequins; also, the left most spider is off by one square?😭 i have no idea how but honestly, i don't think it's too big of a deal; i hope you like it!

i added the cobwebs in 3799 thread, then instead of french knots did pink sequins; i realised at some point what mistake i had made (the letter 'c' in 'club' is slightly off), but i am genuinely happy with how this turned out!
