There’s a quick drabble under the cut!

The demons in the stands are yelling, Kuwabara feels like he’s been fighting for weeks instead of just a couple of days, so he thinks he mishears Kurama at first. Because…what?

“Forgive me if I’m misreading things, but do you want to make out?” That’s definitely Kurama’s smooth voice, and Kurama is looking directly at Kuwabara. Not beside him or behind him, and the look on Kurama’s face is serious. (Possibly slightly teasing.)

“Maybe after we survive the tournament?” Kurama’s smile gentles, and Kuwabara tries to ignore the heat rushing into his cheeks.

“It’s a date,” Kurama confirms and then looks forward again. Kuwabara slaps a hand against his forehead and groans. How does he keep getting into these weird situations?
