ok so, didn't Stephen tweet something a while back about not having filmed with Emily or David in a while? So here's how things go down in my perfect little Olicity world:
Oliver is pissed at Felicity for bringing Barry into the fray and telling him Oliver's secret, thus "betraying" him. Felicity gets pissed (I kinda love it when they argue) and they argue and she says something to the effect of "if you think I value your secret over your life then you obviously know nothing about me" and storms off. Diggle stands up for Felicity, much like she did for him when he and Oliver had their little falling out, and tells Oliver that Diggle agreed with her decision to bring in Barry. THEN, he also tells Oliver that Felicity saved his life twice over: not only did she get Barry to help him, she also stopped Diggle FROM CALLING THE FREAKING PARAMEDICS which would have outed Oliver's secret completely. So then Oliver gets angry at Digg as well. So Felicity is gone for a few episodes and Digg isn't as involved with helping Oliver as usual (hence them not filming together for awhile) and he gets a nice slap in the face of what it's like to be without them for awhile and he sees how much he's come to trust and depend on them.
And then Oliver goes to Felicity's apartment in 2x13, which is the episode we apparently get some of her backstory in, and apologizes for being an asshole. BUT I really need him to go to her apartment, or track her down, OR MAKE SOME OTHER EFFORT TO REACH OUT TO HER. IF HE JUST TRIES TO DO A HALF ASSED APOLOGY TO HER AT WORK OR SOMETHING, I WILL KICK IN HIS DOOR AND PUT A RIGHTEOUS FIST IN HIS BEAUTIFULLY SCULPTED FACE. I NEED to see Oliver make an effort where Felicity is involved: to get to know her better, to be a friend outside of their work ... ya know.
And then from there we get Oliver dealing with the idea that maybe he overreacted a bit because he was acting on the jealousy that he didn't know he felt, and because it scares him that there are people in his life who value his life so highly.
