I finally finished my @fth2025fanworks fic for @kaiserin-astraia! Now that the fic is complete, all the tags have been updated to included spoilers. So if you were holding off on this one to make sure I wasn't going to add anything you don't like to the tags, you can now peruse them all at your leisure.

Summary:

Instead of to combat the Flare, the Maze was built as a test - to see if humanity was even worth saving. Alternate ending for book 1, The Maze Runner.

Here's my @fth2025fanworks for @kaiserin-astraia! It's a canon divergence exploring one of the wild theories I had about what was going on with the Maze when I read the first book. Newt/Thomas established relationship, and a bunch of other characters show up, although most of them pretty briefly. How is it an Everyone Lives story? IDK, what did you think was happening when you read the book? ;3
