“oh great,” he exclaims, nose crinkling. “a hunter.” really, a self-righteous lot, and that’s something coming from pride himself. but hunters are more obnoxious than the demon underlings he has to deal with -- and they never stop to hear him out, always shoot, stab, imma kill you demon! for real, he’s not a demon. but do they ever stop to ask? no. of course not. “sorry, i’m not here right now, leave a message.”

   H u n t e r. The scent is unmistakable, an ever-present singe that tickles his senses and leaves him agitated. He has no real problem with them, though ( except for the meddling Winchesters, who always seem to be in his family’s w a y ), and she is a prophet, so he offers the female a small smile and a nod of his head.

“ Miss Swansen. I am told you called for angelic assistance of some kind. ”

BLOOD RED LIPS  smirk  as  she  eyes  the  hunter .  a  game  of  cat  and  mouse  if  you  will .  “  you  should  know ,  i’m  not  . . .  typical . ”  ruby  isn’t  going  to  give  away  the  fact  she’s  a  demon .  but  she’s  also  a  hunter  and  witch .  she’ll  leave  the  statement  open  ended .

“Leave it alone? Violet, someone hurt you. That’s not okay! And...you don’t wanna talk about it, fine, but sooner or later, they’re gonna hurt somebody else....I know you wouldn’t want that.”

But he’s not gonna push her. Hell, he doesn’t even know what really happened, but he does know better than anyone how to bottle things up and let them simmer, despite his awareness that it’s really not the best idea.

“Just...at least tell me where I can find whoever did this.”

He'd spent the better part of the night hunting down the scorpios demon only to lose it in a maze of dark alleyways. It also didn't help that he'd stumbled upon this mundane who seemed to be doing the same thing he was. For a long moment he thought about not revealing himself and continuing on his hunt. But having faced it once before Jace knew what he was up against. The same couldn't be said about the other. And it was why he'd decided to reveal himself and hope he could deter them from continuing their hunt.

"Not with what you're hunting."

“no, wait, hold on.” he takes a deep breath, rubbing at his eyes with his thumb and forefinger. it was way too early to be dealing with this. after a long moment, he opens his eyes again, gives the girl a tired look. on a scale of one to weird, prophets were about a six, but easily a thirteen before dean was fully awake. “start from the beginning,” he says with a tone that clearly suggests this is the last thing he wants to be doing at the moment. “you saw what now?”

      “ what- why would i be lying? that is my name, you asked my name. i just told you my name, like YOU asked- could you please stop pointing that weapon at me, it’s making me uneasy already. “       jesus would never be one to like weapons, being the peace maker he was. so having one pointed at him? totally not cool, bro- so he stayed there, his hands LEVELLED with his face, and one could notice the scars on them.
