11:11: name three wishes and why you wish for them.

1) Straight hair: My hair is naturally curly and I’ve always wished for it to be straight. As an adult, I’ve made peace with my hair for the most part, but if I woke up with, say, Alison Brie’s thick, curlable-but-not-curly hair, I’d be thrilled.

2) New, perfect pillow: I have neck/shoulder pain, and my pillow has to be perfect, and I’ve been holding on to an OLD (almost 15 years old) pillow that used to be perfect but it’s really not anymore and I need a new one but I’m afraid to buy one because it might not be perfect.

3) That it will not snow in my town this winter: Snow is overrated and a huge pain; let’s stick with cold and dry.

overalls: what would you do with one billion dollars?

GOSH, I’m not too good with numbers so it’s hard to really even conceive of how much $1 billion is, but. I’d pay off the debts of everyone in my family, keep $1 million for us and $1 million for each of our kids? And give the rest away to charities that care for children and families in poverty.  (It would probably be a good idea to get some expert opinions on the best ways to distribute this kind of money! So I’d actually probably do that first.)

Hiya. Do you remember the interview from many years ago where Rafa said Roger was perfect? I think this was a Wimbledon interview either before or around the time of their significant finals together. I can't seem to find it on yt anymore, but I feel like it did exist and not just fanon.

Unfortunately no, but they have been sweet talking for years so I wouldn’t be surprised if it really happened.

im so sorry. im so happy shes okay. my older sister has tried to kill herself and i know how scary it can be. if u wanna talk im here for you <3

thank you everyone for the kindness and concern. i can’t tell you how much i appreciate it. there’s no cafe in the ER but eventually a nurse brought me a only-slightly-suspect turkey sandwich and a cup of water. my parents drove up from stl and relieved me around 3am. at 6:30am my sister was finally transferred to a psych unit in a western suburb, and visiting hours aren’t until 6:30-8:00pm tonight.  

pls keep my sister in your thoughts. she’s only 20 and i guess had been feeling suicidal for about three weeks prior to the actual attempt; the straw that broke the camel’s back was some kind of confrontation with her three roommates that went poorly. she’s going to miss some exams, a formal dance, a khalid concert, and more while she’s in psych, and so she’s just really distraught despite reassurances that doctors notes will excuse her from school. idk i’m just really worried about her. she’s the youngest in the family and just does too much (2 jobs, full time class, treasurer & small groups leader of a national womens empowerment fitness org, and she’s on student council). i wish i could just put her in sandy’s dome house (spongebob squarepants ref ftw) to rest and recover, but alas.

anyway, thank you again for the thoughts, prayers & kindness. love y’all <333 hope you’re having good days!
