im so sorry. im so happy shes okay. my older sister has tried to kill herself and i know how scary it can be. if u wanna talk im here for you <3

thank you everyone for the kindness and concern. i can’t tell you how much i appreciate it. there’s no cafe in the ER but eventually a nurse brought me a only-slightly-suspect turkey sandwich and a cup of water. my parents drove up from stl and relieved me around 3am. at 6:30am my sister was finally transferred to a psych unit in a western suburb, and visiting hours aren’t until 6:30-8:00pm tonight.  

pls keep my sister in your thoughts. she’s only 20 and i guess had been feeling suicidal for about three weeks prior to the actual attempt; the straw that broke the camel’s back was some kind of confrontation with her three roommates that went poorly. she’s going to miss some exams, a formal dance, a khalid concert, and more while she’s in psych, and so she’s just really distraught despite reassurances that doctors notes will excuse her from school. idk i’m just really worried about her. she’s the youngest in the family and just does too much (2 jobs, full time class, treasurer & small groups leader of a national womens empowerment fitness org, and she’s on student council). i wish i could just put her in sandy’s dome house (spongebob squarepants ref ftw) to rest and recover, but alas.

First best friend: His name was Dustin. I stopped talking to him after I thought he laughed about me getting glasses. I now realize that he was not laughing or making fun of me but actually just very very loudly pointing them out. I was in the 2nd grade. Sue me.

First sport you joined: I started Ballet, Tap, and Jazz classes all at the same time when I was like 5

First vacation: Oh god. Probably like six flag or something

First pair of trainers: OHMYGOD SO I ACTUALLY KNOW THIS. My grandfather never was able to spoil his children before my Granny divorced him (to be with another man which she later divorced for being a shit bag and then again remarried. My granny was a wonderful and popular woman). So when I was born his first grandchild he spoiled me rotten. He was of the mindset that Brand Name was always better so he bought me these little baby Nike Sneakers. According to my dad I would kick them off everytime they put them on me but they would try to make me wear them like all the time.
