Scopophobia Archive? 👁️

Hello hello! As many of you know by now, Scopophobia Studios has quit game development, a lot of their games are now unavailable, not to mention so much of their universe's lore is very scattered and hidden in asks, deleted blogs and websites. It's safe to say, my archivist brain is craving an accessible place where everyone can read up on the Uncanny Valley and Purple-Verse lore, and I really want to make that, linking official sources, and compiling information on all their projects.

I'll start by compiling all info on the John Doe and House Hunted series, and then move on to the rest of the titles. Thank you for reading this far, here's a John Doe for your trouble!

Just a disclaimer that I am in no way affiliated to Scopophobia, I have no more info on things than you all do, probably even less than some who've been fans for longer.

I just don't want to see all their work be lost.

I'm still working on this, but I won't be sharing the games anymore, I found out the creator has expressed they're not okay with it, and that one day they'd like to reupload the games themselves. I'll be preserving the games through video footage, but I can't share them anymore, I'm very sorry

[Tate's creator, Mortisfox, has had a rough time dealing with physical and mental issues (a good chunk of this was caused by a user attempting to slander them). This caused us to get this message.]

{While the account is still up, hence I was able to screenshot this, it is not active anymore. They have a new NSFW account that's locked and still do stuff for Patreon. What's wild is...It appears the Twitter page for Frost Bite is gone. In fact...all the games on their itch.io are gone. So, sadly, it appears that the characters we came to love from them (Doe, Maison, Tate, Randall...) are dead concepts. I believe they still draw them, but I don't think there's plans to expand further than that. Fan art and creative additions by fans are likely the only means we'll be getting more.}
