Frost Trolls: The Iceborn Trolls of Northrend

Frost trolls, also known as ice trolls, are a fearsome and resilient subrace of trolls native to the harsh, frozen regions of Northrend. Distinguished by their pale blue skin and frostbitten features, these trolls have adapted to survive in one of the most hostile environments in Azeroth. Unlike their jungle-dwelling cousins, frost trolls thrive in the cold, using their strength and resourcefulness to endure the frigid conditions.

The most prominent tribe of frost trolls was the Drakkari, who once ruled a vast empire in Northrend. Their capital, Gundrak, was a sprawling temple city dedicated to the worship of their pantheon of loa that guided and protected them. The Drakkari Empire, thrived in the northeast of Northrend, stretching from Gundrak to Drak'Tharon Keep. The Drakkari's deep devotion to their loa and their ability to commune with them through prophets was a defining feature of their culture. But their downfall came when they sought forbidden power, eventually aligning with dark forces such as the Lich King.culminating in the fall of their empire after their betrayal of their loa. In the end, many of the Drakkari were transformed into mindless undead under the control of the Lich King.

Other known frost troll tribes, such as the Frostmane and Winterax, survived in the cold corners of Northrend. The Frostmane, originally part of the Drakkari Empire, became isolated in Dun Morogh, while the Winterax found themselves in the region of Alterac. Despite their separation, these tribes still share a strong cultural and historical link to the Drakkari.

Frost trolls' influence endures in Northrend, where remnants of their former empire linger. Though their empire is lost, their survival instincts and spiritual devotion to the loa continue to shape their identity. Today, they are a shadow of their former selves, yet still dangerous and fiercely protective of their frozen homeland.

So you know primals? I present snowy owl frost troll. There's gotta be an owl loa somewhere right

They don't have a name or anything yet but I had to get the basic idea of their design down before it vanished into the aether. I'm thinking they're gonna be that "reclusive but kind hermit" type y'know.
