I wanted Th'gar's mask to both look like a yautja's face like his original design from years ago and also wanted to soften some of the edges to look like a tiger's face. It lends itself to being a very menacing mask.

The bird skull and talons on his necklace are from a bird of prey and belong to the same individual he hunted back on his homeplanet, Yautja Prime. The chevron friendship bracelet around his tendril was a gift from his human mate (which will make it's appearance in a future series.)
