The lightning spirit continued her attack on the nightmare king, not appreciating the nightmares he’d sent her, but soon a flash of white and blue appeared in her peripheral vision. Pitch had Jack. The female released a roar, hitting the nightmare king with another bolt of lightning before he released Jack. Bella flew after the winter spirit, scooping Jack into her arms and shielding him with her body as the lightning flashed.

She could finally hold him. Jack could see her? The brunette held him tight against her and growled when the fearlings appeared nearby. “Just hold onto me. I’ve got you,”

Tranquility.

That was the word that popped into Cadence's pretty little head as soon as she sat back into the worn park bench, it creaking beneath her as she did so. It was this segment of her young morning she admired and yearned for ever since school had started. The blonde haired teen never once got a chance to sit back and simply relax.

It was the start of Christmas break. Two weeks she got off of school, much to her enjoyment and relief. Two weeks of tranquility. The perfect word for how Cadence would spend her two weeks, save for Christmas Eve and Day.

The teen shut her eyes and took a great breath, releasing it into the chilly air as the sun rose. Dawn. Dawn was the time she enjoyed. Watching the sunrise, and sometimes even the sunsets. The sun made the sky it's canvas, painting it all sorts of reds, yellows, pinks, and oranges. The clouds, usually a blocking annoyance, accompanied the colors quite nicely today as the rays of birthing sunshine seeped through the small gaps where the cloud wasn't.

A beautiful morning.. So far, so good.
