Morning freeze cloche call with the kabocha! 🥶 . Was dropping off to sleep when I jolted awake with the realization I had forgot to cover the recently transplanted seedlings & there was a cold morning on the way! 😮 . Second slide shows the relative positions of the three seedlings. The closest (under the trellis) is in a special spot that seems to be a frost-free zone as well as receiving a double-dose of light—from sun & bounced off the window. You can see the snap peas in the corner growing much faster than the others! .
