Have you ever read the frozen script? It's actually really interesting because Jen lee leaves these little notes about the characters

I have, but ages ago, so I don’t even remember those side writing details.

When you read these old-ish articles about the ways Frozen script was changing and you wonder if they decided to make Elsa good because otherwise she would be repeating a trope of single female villain with magical powers, but also would be the first strongly implied to be straight aka going evil because of a man.

And when you realize that the said plot twist is that Hans was never a good boy, not in any version of the story. The difference is, he was even a bigger bastard in the original script than in the final version.

And when you realize that they abandoned an epic grrrl power cooperation against evil male,

because they got scared of the movie being too feminist and gay (yes, the world is full of movies about powerful females working together to fight off villain males, we don’t need more).

And then you calm down, because these maybe are just conspiracy theories born in your head and the movie was excellent as it was.
