I just love how eerie this scene looks. Anna has a concerned expression when she sees these floating fractals outside the castle exterior so they must have a deeper meaning. I'm a nerd for symbols so I really wanted to find some information that would support their hidden meaning. After Josh Gad's instagram tease I just had to know more! I looked up a series of ancient norwegian symbols as well as ones for alchemy and came up with my own little theories~

Filled circle - darkness (ancient norwegian symbols)

Upside down triangle with line above- could associate with alchemy symbol for earth (Earth is a downward triangle with a horizontal line through it) or even for Air (triangle with line through it)

Meaning : dark earth, caves, rocks, or storms

OR

Chemical element symbols for water and salt are a downward triangle and a circle with a horizontal line across it (salt water? Ocean?)

OTHER*

3 dots together - illusion (could mean magic or spells)

Y symbol - truth

Dark circle with light centre - cold

Fire or heat - circle outline with dot centre

Just some lil theories as the poster is very intriguing, or they could just be simple and represent the seasons lol

What Even is this Teaser Poster? I’ve never seen this before, and it reminds me of that very first Frozen Teaser Trailer with Olaf and Sven Goofing around, though seeing Olaf in a more photo realistic Arctic Landscape is neat to see.
