Frozen Wings || Jiminy and Red

Jiminy had made an emergency landing. Although, referring to slamming into a tree as a landing was a rather generous way of putting it. At least he’d avoided crashing into the snow covered ground, where he’d probably be covered in snow within a minute. It was snowing, and while it couldn’t technically be called a blizzard, the snow was falling fast enough and the wind was blowing hard enough to make flying a nightmare.

He’d been trying to make it back to Gepetto when his wings had become far too cold to carry him anymore. Jiminy was still far away from the carpenter, or any chance of warming up. All the cricket could do was huddle with his back to the tree, trying to hide from the snow and wind as he waited for it to subside.
