!! ATTENTION ALL ARILIANS !! 

You’ve awoken to the day where your “people of power” have become helpless hostages. Because while you tiptoed around each other, wary of another war, we have risen to overcome this overt corruption that governs our world. 

While we came together to help out the empires during the devastating breach, we were blind to the manipulation that came about & allowed a snake to seamlessly adorn a crown. 

For your lack of justice, we have taken the means of your punishment into our own hands. Your authoritative figures that you hold so dear are now our victims. We’ve taken the following: 

The King of Melcio @melligine , the First Sentinel of Cyanio @kaqenui,  the Empire Representative of Acirus @sancuine, the Queen of Linyr @queenery, the Empress of Tilaren @asterifice, & the Queen of Gralice @reginaduex 

You have until the 24th of November to save them or else they may just meet a fate crueler than death. 

There are three different hostage locations, each holding two hostages & will be accompanied by three “levels” before you can get to them. It consists of: a Stealth Level, where you can sneak past guards or assassinate them quietly in order to gain access to the next level. Which is the Labyrinth level, where finding the end of the long, tedious maze ( that houses various threats such as airborne poison or malicious monsters / creatures ) will get you to the final level. The final level is the Summon Battle, which will be different for every location. 

For the southern cell, which will hold the King of Melcio & the Empress of Tilaren: the summon will be Ifrit. For the Western Cell, which holds the First Sentinel of Cyanio & the Queen of Linyr: the summon is Leviathan. Finally for the Northern Cell, which holds the Queen of Gralice & the Representative of Acirus: the summon is Bahamut. 

A note for the hostages: The cells that you are in negate any & all of your abilities. So you will only have your combat training, if applicable, to rely on. Please understand that even though you are chained, confined, & unable to properly free yourself, there is always a slight possibility that you can. But then you would have to deal with the levels by yourselves, without abilities or weapons. You will be fed at least once every day. There is an abundance of water bottles within your confinement to keep yourselves hydrated. Please do not get too disheartened, as help is possibly on its way. 

FIRST THINGS FIRST: please use #frt takeover for all event posts! Due to the nature of the event, it shall end on November 24th @ 11:59 PM EST.

Even though this is a battle-centric event, all members of frucitaion can participate! Participation isn’t mandatory but…. really, don’t leave your empire hanging. ( haha, jk please participate at your own volition )

However! It would do your characters well to partner up with others as it isn’t advisable to ride out a rescue party as a solo member. 

one last note! All threads that involve this event must end when the event ends. You’re allowed to finish up ongoing threads if they don’t finish on the event date. But after that, all event threads that must end by the final day.

!! ALERT !! the following locations are under attack & are under critical condition until the threat is eradicated. 

Melcio, Acirus, & Itarus are under attack by malicious behemoths, it is unknown where they came from but there’s a rumor that they’ve risen from the shadows. These creatures have impeccable strength & defense which leaves their weaknesses limited. Their underbelly & eyes are key points on where you should attack! It’ll weaken them for a while! But beware, the pain doesn’t stun them for long & they’ll be back with a vengeance. The creatures in Melcio & Acirus have an elemental weakness: Melcio’s invader is weak to light magic while Acirus’ is weak to ice. The creature at Itarus is weak to Earth-based magic. 

These are deadly four-legged creatures that stand at a height of an average of 200 feet when on all fours. Each have canine-like maws with multiple rows of fangs, adorned with horns along their back & a set atop their head. With two sets of eyes & hard armor-like skin along their backs, this will be one hell of a fight. Also beware: the horns along their back are used as projectiles & each can breath out an element as an attack, much like a dragon breathing fire. ( Respectively it goes as: Melcio: Breathes Poison, Acirus: Breathes Fire, Itarus: Breathes Lightning )

Although it’s only the middle of the week, there’s always time for a ball. Please do not mind those well-dressed shadowy figures. They are your escorts to the sky island known as Olympia and your ticket into the wonderful, vast glass palace in which the ball will take place. In such an extravagant place, you will be able to dine in it’s banquet hall if you’re hungry, but if you just want to head over to the ballroom, that’s completely okay!

But before this event gets started, the shadowed suits will provide you with a mask and a code name. The masks are enchanted so that they will not be able to be taken off in Olympia nor will you be able to remove them. The enchantment also goes as far as to securing your code name therefore making usage of your actual name is impossible during the Masquerade Ball. ( Don’t worry, you’ll still recognize your dates. )

Identities won’t be completely hidden but you will not be able to completely figure out who someone is until the ball ends. So who knows; maybe enemies may become lovers— or friends into enemies.

First things first: please use the tag #frt masqball on all event posts! You will be able to create your codename! Please keep it.... mostly appropriate. It’ll be your character’s name during the ball, Mike Hawk. During the duration of the event, you will be able to come and go to Olympia just as long as the shadowed suits escort you. The event will last until 11:59 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2017. 

Since this is a formal ball, characters must wear the appropriate attire like suits or tuxedos and formal dresses or ball gowns! Wear whatever of these choices that you are more comfortable with! & feel free to share your outfits!

It’s not a necessity to come with a date, you can fly solo or go in groups! Whatever floats your boats. Just as long as you have fun! 

one last note! All threads that involve this event must end when the event ends. You’re allowed to finish up ongoing threads if they don’t finish on the event date. But after that, all event threads that take place in the MasqBall event must end.

‘TIS THE SEASON NERDS! It’s time to gather for the holidays! You will be traveling back to Olympia for this ball once again. The shadowed suits who now have antlers with lights and bells hanging from them, will be your escorts again. You will be brought to the glass palace, according decorated for the season! The dining hall is brimmed with everyone’s holiday favorites & if yours happens to be the single weird thing no one makes, feel free to request it over at the dining hall! 

On the 25th is the Day of Giving, so feel free to bring gifts for friends & enemies alike! However, violence is strongly discouraged & will be met with cruel & unusual punishment by the shadowed suits. There is also a single present for each of you, given by an anonymous benefactor and impractically boxed in mirrored glass of various colors. 

Then on the eve of January 1st, the palace will have changed their decor to meet the festivities of welcoming the New Year! & there will be booze, lots of it. Feel free to tie your resolutions on the glass tree that will be placed in the middle of the ballroom of that morning! 

The whole event will end on the night of the New Year! So we hope you have fun!

my apologies—

i never made the follow up post like i had planned before the event ended. i still plan to do so though, even though the event is no longer. because the “group” that took over might make a reappearance in the future. & also, we really need a map of Arilia LMAO

there hasn’t been much asks! & activity checks will run their normally scheduled course soon. but for the time that we were busy; i might be lenient. LOL

but !! i plan to have more things going for the group! & there will be a Christmas event! so look out for that!

-> poses. Hello, everyone! As the title implies, you’ll be seeing a new face around helping with this lovely group here-- me, your resident CHEESE MOD! 

or, as many of you will come to know me by: Lexi ( or just cheese. i reply to that )! I currently don’t have any characters in the group but I soon plan to. For now, I’m here to help the other wonderful mods where I can! I’ve got lots of experience, and I’ll be doing my very best to help as much as possible to make things run smooth(i)er.
