I just wish I could eat normal food without my stomach having a mutiny. What’s it like to walk into a restaurant and order anything off the menu, and order it the way it comes? I can’t remember.
if anyone is fructose intolerant & has wisdom to impart hmu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your girl wants to do something nice for herself when she’s all alone on the holiday weekend. So she buys a cake!!!
*Four hours later*
*Dying on the floor of the bathroom because the cake has high fructose corn syrup in it*
Happy Memorial Day weekend to me!
“Aussie apples, no snackgrets” THERE WILL BE FUCKING SNACKGRETS. THERELL BE LOADS OF THEM. IM FRUCTOSE INTOLERANT
being severely fructose intolerant is so weird because i constantly have to explain to people that i medically cannot have corn syrup (95 percent of the american diet) without becoming extreamly nausated and sweating sweat that smells like sour milk for several hours. and also if i eat a strawberry it will taste spicy. and an apple will make me throw up. and vegetables are not healthy for me.
but lemon is fine for some reason
I was today years old when I learned that grapes don't usually cause upset stomachs
Because of an F.D.A. labeling change, many consumers will learn that added sugars are in many products generally thought to be healthy.
Saw this headline and said “No I wouldn’t be surprised”, however inside the article is a list of “words that really mean added sugar” and there were quite a few words on that list that I hadn’t seen before.
Brown Rice Syrup was one I have seen before, but I’m pretty sure it was one of the ingredients that I’d let slide--thinking that it was just a thickening agent and not a sweetener. Now I know better!
The list just keeps growing and growing. I don’t know how I’m supposed to memorize this!
