For Bee on her birthday! Have some fluffy birthday-themed Caaron! Happy Birthday, babe!

Aaron was so excited when he got to school that day, the smile that was on his face was probably enough to light the building. His backpack was slung over his shoulder and he was carrying a rather large and beautifully wrapped box under his arm. He was practically bouncing with each and every step.

He knew that he was risking looking like a total creeper, but he just didn't care, because he knew that even if he might be a creeper, he was going to make Carson smile, and that was always an achievement! 

"Hi Carson!" Aaron chirped as he walked in, closing the door behind him. The sound of clicking keys didn't stop, though Aaron knew that would happen.

"Hello Aaron," Carson responded, his eyes not leaving the computer screen in front of him. Aaron just grinned and walked over to him, setting his bag and the box down on the table in front of Carson's desk. He briefly wondered if the school even knew that this was Carson's room now, considering there was no actual teacher. He wondered that a lot, usually when Dwayne was going on and on about some movie he was supposed to be reviewing, but never actually saw.

"How was your night?" Aaron asked, sliding onto the table. He kicked his legs happily.

"Peachy," Carson deadpanned. His tone definitely said that he wasn't really in the mood for small-talk, but that tone never really deterred Aaron in the past, and it wasn't going to now. He was going to change it anyways, if everything went well.

"Soooooooooooo..." Aaron drawled, grinning cheekily, like he had some secret, which in a way he did. The secret was the box on the desk beside him, but Carson hadn't even looked up at him, so naturally, he hadn't noticed.

Carson didn't respond for a few moments, but then he sighed, took off his glasses, and looked up at Aaron. "Yes, Aaron? What is it?" he asked. Aaron just jumped off the desk and picked the box back up, holding it out for Carson.

"I heard through the grapevine- and by grapevine, I mean super awesome detective work, like secret agent style, but that really just means I asked principal's secretary- that it is a certain someone's birthday. So I got a certain someone something special," he said.

Carson stared at Aaron as if he'd grown another head, before looking down at the box. He didn't look angry or annoyed, just kind of... surprised. He bit his lip as he reached out and took the box from Aaron.

"I didn't... You didn't have to get me anything, Aaron. It's not like I care about presents or anything. Birthdays aren't anything special, they're just another day. It's kind of why I don't bother telling anyone. No one would even care," he said softly. Aaron smiled.

"That's not true at all, Carson! I, for one, care deeply! Birthdays are a celebration of your life! Of the day you graced the world with your amazing presence! Everyone deserves presents on their birthday. Especially you."

Redness rose on Carson's cheeks and Aaron grinned at that. He absolutely loved making Carson blush. It was one of his favorite things to do.

"Go on. Open it!"

Carson sighed again, though this one didn't have the annoyance that his first sigh had. He moved around his desk to stand beside Aaron, and set the box back down onto the table. He pulled off the ribbon, setting it aside, before unwrapping the box. Carson shot Aaron another look, before pulling the lid off the box. He pushed aside the tissue paper and his eyes went wide.

"You have got to be shitting me, Aaron," Carson whispered as he lifted out the brand new leather messenger bag. His name was engraved into the top flap in silver letters to match the buckles that kept it closed. Carson looked over at Aaron in complete disbelief. "You... This must have cost you a fortune, Aaron!" 

Aaron shrugged. "I don't care! I wanted to get you something special, but also something that will be put to good use. I'm sure that will be seeing a lot of the Northwestern campus, so I wanted to make sure it was really good quality. Look inside! There's more!"

Carson let out a breath, his jaw dropped still, and shook his head as he unhooked the buckles and opened the top flap. He reached inside, pulling out a leather-bound journal, also with his name engraved on it, and a set of really nice pens with his name on them as well. He just shook his head more.

"I can't believe this. I can't believe you."

Aaron's expression dropped, along with his stomach. "Do you... do you not like them?"

"No Aaron, I fucking hate them! What do you think?" Carson said, rubbing his eyes. "It's too much! It's way too much... it's all so great, but it's too much!" 

Aaron took the journal and the pens and set them on top of the bag, before pulling Carson into a hug. Carson tensed up a bit, but then he hugged back slightly. 

"Don't think about the cost. Trust me, I'm not. I just wanted to make you happy. Someone has to, Carson," Aaron said into Carson's ear. Carson let out a shaky breath and hugged Aaron tighter. 

"Thank you. I love it. All of it," he said. Aaron pulled back and smiled at Carson. Carson laughed and smiled back, putting the items back into the bag and re-buckling it. Aaron did an internal fist pump at the smile. Small victories.

Carson turned back to him and stared at Aaron again, before leaning in and giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. Both boys blushed. Carson cleared his throat. "Now, don't think that this means you're going to get any extra time on your piece. I expect it on my desk or in my hands, on time, Aaron."

Aaron just chuckled, though the blush didn't leave his face. "Aye aye, captain."

Though, I can't right now because I need to sleep.

So it could possibly come a little late. 

But I'm gonna do it.

So today is a very special day. On this day 20 years ago, an obnoxious, hilarious, talented, science-loving baby girl was born. And now, all these years later, I'm luck enough to call her my friend. 

Bee, you are a wonderful woman, and I'm so glad to know you. I hope you have an amazing day full of Crisscolfer manips, Caaron fic, and love.

GOD so much attractiveness in one room. I don't even know where to begin. Maybe like six different parts with one devoted to each person? Like each one gets their own take on what's happening or something so as not to favor anyone? (OR, Chris and/or Darren because these are their characters who they are for some reason having sex with.)
