The goodness of dried cranberries, apricots, and cherries are combined with the sweetness of white chocolate chips and the crunch of chopped nuts in these delectable Fruit Platter Cookies. They are ideal for a refreshing treat on a fruit platter and are sure to please at any gathering!
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1 egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup dried cranberries. 1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped. 1/2 cup dried cherries. 1/4 cup white chocolate chips. 1/4 cup chopped nuts e.g., almonds or walnuts.
Instructions: Warm your oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Mix the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth. Add the vanilla extract and egg to the mix and beat until everything is well mixed. Mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt together in a different bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones one at a time and mix them together until a soft dough forms. It's time to add the white chocolate chips, chopped nuts, dried apricots, and dried cherries. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet that has been prepared. You can use a cookie scoop for this. Make each cookie a little flatter with the back of a spoon. Put the cookies in an oven that is already hot and bake them for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. Put the cookies on a fruit platter and serve after they have cooled down.
