England, between the two, would probably be the first to fall asleep in a meeting
Not on purpose, of course
But in that “I’m so exhausted and damn it I’m trying to stay awake but I spent last night trying to finish one book which turned into trying to finish the whole series and now I just want to curl up and die from exhaustion” kind of way
You’ll probably never find France asleep in a meeting, because a) he’s never one to skip on some beauty sleep and b) if by the off chance, he actually didn’t get enough sleep, you’ll bet your tush he’s going to be late (or he skipped the meeting entirely) because Lord knows he won’t be in public looking like a disgrace
FACE Bedtime Fairytales: Part 1
Alfred: Oooh ooh and then Cinderella’s stepsisters had their eyes pecked out by crows and chased out of their house?
Arthur: No. And then all of Cinderella’s stepsisters moved to France. Because that’s where all the jealous and nasty go to live, which is far, far, worse.
Alfred: that’s not what Ludwig told me in the Grimm version…….
Phone: *beep beep boop*
England: *picks up* Hello?
France: Bonjour, Angleterre! Do you have any plans for today?
England: What.
France: Spending any time with anyone today~?
England: Why are you calling.
France: Because it's the Fourth of July.
France: And I'd rather not get a drunk call from you in...
France: ...
France: Five hours from now.
England: If you're insinuating that I always drink myself silly every year because of America's godforsaken birthday you'll be sorely disappointed--
France: I have wine.
England:
England:
England: I can be there at five.
England: nO
England: i'M NOT GOING OUT
France: Oh come on, you look lovely.
England: Everyone is going to laugh!
France: Nobody’s gonna laugh. If anything, they would’ve laughed at me.
France: Come now, chou. Get out of changing area.
England:
England: ... I feel utterly ridiculous.
France: *trying to hold back laughter and protection vibes*
France: Nooo but
France: What if we were famous
France: Like
France: So famous
France: That people write stories about us
France: And, and--
France: We're so sexy
France: An so human
France: You know???
France: What if we're just words in a story??? Figures on a page??? Lines in a drawing????
England: France please, you're drunk. You don't know what you're talking about.
England: FRANCE
England: FRANCE
England: FRANCE I SWEAR TO GOD
England: THIS BETTER BE A JOKE
England: DID YOU SERIOUSLY
England: SWITCH THE SUGAR
England: WITH
England: SALT?!
France: *hiding in a corner* Pfft--
England: FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN
