“Carpe diem? Carpe dickum.” One eye roll couldn’t express the amount of distaste she felt about that phrase. Life for today and forget about tomorrow. A laugh rang through the still air of her apartment. Her fingers lazily traced the swirling patterns on her black pencil skirt.

Stephanie pushed her thick hair away from her face, her long fingers scratching an itch behind her ear. Blue eyes flickered from the fabric to the spot where Seolhyun was sitting. “But that’s my opinion. I don’t give very good advise, at least not to young ones like you.”

Live for today and forget about tomorrow. Seolhyun gave it some thought. Life was weird. One minute you could be happy and the next, with a small event, you could be crying your eyes out. It was somewhat true that you have to live in the moment. In a way. The girl had not many worries and probably this was why? Why care about something small, if everything were to scatter tomorrow?·“I don’t think it’s a misguided saying. Also I don’t believe in quotes a lot.” she spoke softly and smiled at her unnie.·“Is there a particular reason you don’t like it?”
