A composition done entirely using Garageband on iPad, using the keyboard and strings.
Albia by Frygia
For but a moment, an existence of nonexistence.
My first composition. Inspired by various works, namely those of Philip Wesley, the 14th’s song from D. Gray Man, Near Light by Olafur Arnalds, etc. I recorded myself as I played the piano, then added a reverberation effect in Garageband.
I wanted to create a sense of serene emptiness. The name, Albia, comes from Albus, which is “white” in Latin.
