FSC Gothic 4

·       You can leave a classroom without asking, but watch out.

·       Some parts of campus may not feel real. Don’t stop in them. You won’t be able to leave.

·       The fish in Ordway hold grudges. Be kind to them. Pouring bleach in the water will not be tolerated.

·       TuTu’s is always open. You suspect they’re operating on a skeleton crew. What was your first clue? The scant number of employees, or the skeleton behind the counter?

·       You’re a member of the Roux book club, but you’re Jared, 19. Don’t worry; no one reads in college, anyways.

·       Don’t drink the water dome water. Always drink the water dome water. Think for yourself. Don’t think at all.

·       You went to get a smoothie at Freshens, but Patricia wasn’t there. The fruit didn’t taste quite as strong this time.

·       The washing machines are all full. They’re always full. You just did your laundry, but it’s laundry day again. The washing machines are all full.

FSC Gothic 2

·       Scholars Weekend is coming! You don’t know who the hosts are, but you have to prepare. Scholars get hungry. If you aren’t ready, you’ll be their next feast. Their weaknesses are unknown.

·       You saw one of the campus cats. At least, you think you did. Do all feral cats have three heads?

·       “We should get breakfast together!” they exclaimed. You do not know this person, but you hesitantly agree anyways. You never see them again.

·       Be careful whose concrete name you step on. Some of the previous students have not yet left the campus. They deserve your respect, too.

·       Night classes are home to supernatural beings. If a classroom’s light is on but the room looks empty, it means they do not want you to see them. Leave the light on. They’ll turn it off when they’re done.

·       If you hear humming in the rose garden, go back to your dorm immediately.

·       You touched one of the fruit trees once. No one was around when you did it, but the citrus majors still know. Sometimes, trees talk.

·       You lost your ID once. Are you still you? How do you know?

FSC Gothic

·       Everywhere you go, someone waves at you. That’s a perk of a small campus, I guess. But who are these people? Where are their faces?

·       Your roommate always asks you if you want to go to one of the events this weekend. The weekend never comes.

·       “What’d you get on The Exam this morning?” they asked. There was no exam this morning. You don’t have class with this person. A few weeks later, you see you got an A.

·       Mocsie was found dead in Miami. A new one takes his place before the day is over. No one notices the difference.

·       You pass the water dome at night and try to ignore Frank Lloyd Wright, staring at you from the watery abyss.

·       Everyone ends up on top of Polk Science eventually.

·       Spivey Jr. pushed you down the stairs. You don’t even live in JR. How did you get here?

·       Your reflection in the Meditation Garden pool is not always the right person. Don’t think too hard about it.

·       Ignore the noises from the greenhouses. Whatever you do, don’t let them out.

FSC Gothic 3

·       There’s an event in the Eleanor Searle Room. Music is playing and you smell the rancid smell of cooked vegetables. When you look in, the room is dark and no one is there.

·       The sprinklers will always be on when you need them least. Be ready.

·       You bathed in the JR fountain once. You no longer feel pain. You don’t know if you should be worried.

·       An art major claims she met a god in the courtyard by Branscomb once. She tried to paint a picture, but the canvas refused to let the brush touch it. You still believe her.

·       The building is afraid of fire, but it is not afraid to retaliate. Be careful where you light that candle.

·       You saw Randy outside of the Moc Mart once. Once. You left him be; it’s best not to meddle in the affairs of the immortals.

·       The cow statue in the meditation garden winked at you. You haven’t seen it move since. Is it really a statue?

·       You got in the wrong line at dinner, but still received what you were craving. Sometimes, the caf is benevolent. Sometimes.

·       Watch out for students wearing suits. They’re capitalists.

FSC Gothic 5: Mocsie Edition

·         Mocsie may hunt you through campus when hungry. Watch out.

·         Old Mocsie is not really gone, but instead hiding in the greenhouses. You may see him out of the corner of your eye, but when you turn, he is gone. This is normal. Do not fret.

·         Remain calm if he touches you. He can sense fear.

·         His bite is venomous and 10 times stronger than a normal water moccasin, due to his bipedal nature. There is no cure.

·         Mocsie can swim and he is fast. You will not escape him. Do not try.

·         If you suddenly feel calm after a wave of panic, do not relax. He is still nearby.

·         Don’t open the greenhouse doors when you hear noises from within. He’ll get out. Old Mocsie is elderly but not incapacitated. Underestimating him will not bode well for you.

·         He Is Number One. Do Not Challenge This and Do Not wear his jersey.

·         The small mocsies sold in the gift store grant his true form entry into whatever space you place the miniature ones. Be cautious about where you put him.

·         Once summoned, Mocsie is impossible to banish.

·         His powers grow weaker the further from campus you take him. Use this to your advantage.

·         If you awake and he is in your dorm, it is too late.

FSC Gothic 7

·         If you ever have to pass through a room that’s not lit, be careful not to look the demons in the eyes. That’s how they take your soul.

·         A golf cart rolls past you in the dark. It has no driver.

·         You’ve been sitting at the shuttle stop for weeks. You can’t ever remember a time unlike this.

·         Some nights, you hear shrieks outside your window. Do not open it, do not look out there; whatever made that sound isn’t fully human.

·         Your phone buzzes. You look and see you’ve been added to a GroupMe for some club. When you look online, you find that the club has been out of commission for 20 years.

·         Update: Shuttle 3 arrived. It’s not going to LHA.

·         Your RA informs you of a play put on by the theater majors. “You must come!” they say. “You must come. You must come. You must come.” You look on the schedule. There is no play. When you look back, your RA is gone.

·         Some walls are friendlier than others. Be careful where you stick those tacks.

·         If the campus smells a candle, it will swallow you. It’s best if you avoid the scented ones.

FSC Gothic 6

·         Time stops in the computer science lounge. You walk inside. Two hours pass. It feels like it has simultaneously been two minutes and two years. What did you do in there? You do not know.

·         You just finished your homework. New assignments spawn to take its place. The cycle continues. You do not know peace. You look at memes.

·         You saw Anne Kerr at the president’s house once. She does not live there. Now that you think about it, was it even her? How do you know?

·         Sometimes, the president’s house isn’t even there. It flickers in and out of view. If you pass by at the right time, you might even be able to watch it happen.

·         Fairies walk through the rose garden by Rogers on weekends. Be respectful. They know who you are and who you could be.

·         If you see a puddle of water in the laundry room, do not step in it. You will end up in a parallel world and your laundry will never dry.

·         Be careful when ordering pizzas; the delivery people may not be able to see the campus at first. Do not get frustrated with them. Tip well.
