This is a time when I back leaving objects in a national museum - the Villa Giulia - in Rome.
Among other things, there were 2 people in the museum during the 45 minutes I spent there - me and the woman at the ticket desk. Remember that old “but we take better care of antiquities here in America” argument? Proven. Or the “more people will see it in New York?” Yes, in any 3 minute period more people will look at it closely.
