The past couple of weeks have gone by so fast! It’s been wonder-filled, challenge-filled, and adventure-filled. Aaand nothing compared to what lies ahead in the future, I’m sure.
My parents have seriously considered moving out west by me, from our previous home in Wisconsin. It was their intention to be out in LA to peak my debut with the BulletBoys.
I’m happy to say they made it out, saw the show, and from there we went to Arizona. I’ll have to post the video for that as well!
Anyways, along our stay have been some wonderful hotels/resorts. Among them so far, was one in particular that I encountered and fell in love with. It’s a spot in Westlake Village called “The Four Seasons” and it is absolutely my favorite. Here’s why:
Upon arriving, our bags were promptly taken up to our room, leaving us to explore the grounds, and settle in. Their grounds were exceptional. The front fawyer led to the main lounge/restaurant overlooking the garden. The fawyer also broke into two different directions, both sprawling hallways dotted in oil canvas originals, other delicate art, as well as hand carved sculptures.
The spa is exceptional, all restaurants (They also have a fresh Japanese Sushi sit down, of which the shipping is fresh and daily) are awe inspiring, but get this. They have a wine tasting room separate to the bar/club lounge. Leading out to the heated patio, we enjoyed a nice LOCAL Cabernet. I love that!
Supplied with an arcade downstairs, as well as a lounge for the adolescent, my niece was able to lose herself in some fun for a couple of hours, which we both also enjoyed. When we were finished there, we headed to the pool!
The pool/fitness wing is possibly what captured me the most. Heated indoor pool, serenity outdoor pool, and jacuzzis beside both.
I adored the weight room just outside the indoor pool. Every kind of workout you could envision, they could supply. Of course with a spin room, and beautiful water coolers in all corners.
Upon approaching the pool, my niece was having an imaginary battle with a noodle, and my mother and I sat back and enjoyed the comfy pool chairs. The palette being white, the room was expertly decorated with four pillars outside each corner of their pool, with a giant glass roof. Draped in tapestry at each window, you could walk outside and be in the garden -which was decorated with a waterfall. Truly a setting to recharge some batteries.
You couldn’t find a hotel with nicer service to costumers if you looked. Each concierge, waiter, and attendant were kind. Not only were they nice, but very attentive, and on the ball. They would go out of their way to ask you how you enjoyed your stay, or how you found your day. Up til the very bittersweet checkout, they were friendly, insisting we leave with four bottled water from the hotel for the road.
